R. Rippa (e-mail attyrippa@vrippa.com) was admitted to the New
York State Bar in 1963, the United States District
Courts, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York in 1964 and the United States
Supreme Court in 1970. He completed
his education at Fordham Law School, New York, New York J.D. in 1962 and is
alumni of Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.
With over 43 years of experience Vincent Rippa has appeared in Federal District Court, Southern and Eastern District, the Supreme Courts of New York, Kings, Bronx, Queens, Richmond, Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk Counties, the Appellate Division, First and Second Department Civil Courts in all Counties within the City of New York, City Courts of various municipalities in Westchester County and Village and Town Justice Courts Westchester County.
He has participated in more
than 350 jury or non jury trials in both civil and criminal matters, served on
the panel of the American
Arbitration Association and has been appointed as referee by both Surrogate and
Supreme Court Justices of the County of Westchester for the purpose of
resolving complex litigated matters.
Vincent
Rippa is a former Acting City Court Judge and former Mayor of the City of New
Rochelle. He has been the Chairman
of the Westchester County Industrial Development Agency since 1999 and Chairman
of the Westchester County Tax Commission since 1983.
He is a former member of the Westchester County Board of Legislators and
Minority Leader of the County Board of Legislators.He has lectured on “Orders
of Protection” at the University of Lumsa in Rome, Italy.
Vincent Rippa has been an active member of the Columbian Lawyers Association of Westchester County since 1984 and was President of the Association from 1988 to 1989. He is a member of the Westchester County Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, New York County Lawyers, New Rochelle Bar Association and on the Board of Directors of the Westchester Mental Health Association and St. Theresa’s Home.

Expressway, I-287 East). Take 287

Take the Taconic Parkway or 684 South to the
Cross-Westchester Expressway (I-287) East to Exit 10 (Route 120 Purchase/Port

through two traffic lights. After

ISLAND (WHITESTONE BRIDGE)
Take the Hutchinson River Parkway North to Exit 26E
(Rye/Port Chester). Go straight
through two traffic lights. Bear to
your left at the fork (following signs for Route 120 Purchase/Port Chester).
Go straight through two more traffic lights.
After the second light, make a right into the visitor’s entrance (there

ISLAND (THROGGS NECK BRIDGE)
Take I-95 North New England Thruway to Exit 21. Stay to your left on the exit ramp and get onto I-287 Cross-Westchester West. Get off the first exit (Exit 10) Bowman Avenue. Continue straight through the traffic light, go to the end of the street and make a right onto Westchester Avenue (there is a turn lane). Pass one traffic light. After the light, make a right into the front entrance (there is a sign for 800 Westchester Avenue). Visitor parking is around the fountain or in the garages to either side.
